Fall Open House Dates Announced

We are proud to announce dates for our Fall 2017 open houses. Learn to Curl with us on Tuesday September 12 and Tuesday September 19. For more information email us at info@palmettocurling.com

Spring Playoffs Set

The club championship playoff schedule is now set. Tuesday April 18th will be the first playoff round. The Upstate division winner, Neufeld, will play runner-up from the Palmetto division, Smith. The Palmetto division winner, Roark, will face off against the runner-up team from the Upstate division, Marshall. The other teams in the league will face off against each other to playoff for 5th-12th place in the league.

We are excited to get back on the ice in January, and will open the year with two FREE open houses.

Minimum age for all participants is 18.

All equipment and instructors are provided by Palmetto Curling Club. The open houses begin at 7:00 PM with a brief introduction after which you will spend time on the ice learning how to deliver a stone, how to sweep and why we sweep, plus the finer points of the game.

Please bring a pair of clean, rubber-soled sneakers, wear loose fitting clothes, and layering for cold.

Note: jeans will restrict your movement; stretch sports pants are best.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

All participants must be at least 18 years of age.

What are my parking options at the event?

The Pavilion has plenty of parking. You will want to park near the lower soccer fields for the shortest walk into the ice rink.

What time should I arrive to the event?

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the 7pm start time. We have limited ice time so need to start on time in order to maximize it.

What if I have a large group (greater than 6 people) that wants to participate?
