Palmetto Curling Club Ready To Begin Its Very First League

The last two Tuesday nights have been an exciting time and huge step forward for all of us at the Palmetto Curling Club. All four sheets of ice have been full of our veterans who started with us last June, enthusiastic new League Players tuning up for the season opener and even more brand new people interested in trying out the sport for the first time.

We have come a long way and are very excited to be starting our first League Game on March 1st! Be sure to watch out for  the article on this website regarding the pre-curling event we will be holding on March 15 to celebrate our start. It promises to be a grand event that will encourage the other half of curling, namely, socializing!

Even if your curiosity extends to only watching the sport right now, you will now have lots of games to watch each Tuesday night. So, bundle up, bring a blanket for the metal benches and come cheer us on Tuesdays at the Pavilion, games begin promptly at 8:00 PM. There will always be someone to answer any question you may have and offer you the opportunity to try out the sport on our available Learn to Curl (LTC)/Practice sheet of ice (arrive at 7:30 PM for this sign-up). You just might get hooked on this great combination of golf, pool, bowling, baseball, and chess on ice.
